Membership Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (hereinafter, “T&Cs”) govern all ongoing Memberships (hereinafter, “the Membership”) with House of Fitness (hereinafter, “HoF”), to you (hereinafter, “the Member”). By purchasing a Membership, you agree to these T&Cs.
1. Services
1.1. The Membership entitles the Member to attend semi-private training sessions at HoF, according to the tier selected (e.g., 2x/week, 3x/week, or up to 5x/week).
1.2. Members may also have access to other HoF facilities, events, and offerings as described in the specific Membership tier.
2. Membership Tiers
2.1. HoF offers multiple tiers (e.g., Basic – 2x/week, Standard -3x/week , Elite- up to 5x/week), each with a specific number of sessions or frequency limit.
2.2. Members selecting the “Elite” (up to 5x/week) tier acknowledge that usage above 3x/week represents a premium service.
3. Eligibility & Age Limit
3.1. The Member must be at least 18 years old.
3.2. Members aged 16 or 17 must provide written parental or guardian consent; anyone under 16 must be supervised at all times.
4. Health & Safety
4.1. The Member confirms that they are in suitable physical condition to engage in exercise and have no medical reason preventing safe participation.
4.2. HoF does not perform diagnostic fitness assessments. Any assessments are solely for tracking progress.
5. Liability & Waiver
5.1. Use of HoF facilities is at the Member’s own risk. HoF is not liable for any injuries or damages sustained during training.
5.2. The Member is responsible for any property damage or injury caused by the Member while on HoF premises.
6. Code of Conduct
6.1. The Member agrees to follow HoF’s Code of Conduct, ensuring respectful behavior toward staff and fellow members.
6.2. Breach of the Code of Conduct may result in suspension or termination of the Membership without refund.
7. Payment & Fees
7.1. Membership is billed on a rolling 4-week (28-day) cycle.
7.2. The Member is responsible for ensuring payment is made on time. Failure to pay may result in suspension of access.
7.3. If payment remains overdue after 30 days, HoF may pursue the total outstanding amount and/or transfer the case to a debt collector.
7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
7.4. Within 7 days of the Membership start, the Member may cancel and receive a full refund of the initial payment, provided they notify HoF in writing via info@houseoffitness.co.
8. Session Usage, Carryover & Discounted Sessions
8.1. The number of sessions per cycle is determined by the Member’s chosen tier.
8.2. Discounted Membership Sessions: The sessions included in your membership are provided at a discounted rate compared to our standard pay-as-you-go price of £50 per session. The Membership entitles you to a set number of sessions per 4-week cycle, which must be utilised within that cycle. Any unused sessions will expire at the end of the cycle. The Membership is not intended to serve as a pre-purchased pack with an extended expiry period.
9. Membership Freeze
9.1. The Member may freeze their Membership for up to 1 month for holidays or travel, provided they give at least 1 month’s written notice to info@houseoffitness.co.
9.2. Membership fees will be paused during the freeze period. No sessions accrue during a freeze.
9.3. Additional freezes for medical reasons require a valid medical certificate.
10. Cancellation & Notice
10.1. The Membership renews automatically every 4 weeks unless cancelled by the Member with 30 days’ written notice to info@houseoffitness.co.
10.2. Any payments scheduled within that 30-day period will be due in full.
10.3. Early cancellation may be granted in exceptional circumstances (e.g., relocation more than 10 miles from any HoF facility, with proof of address change, or for medical reasons with a valid medical certificate).
11. Lost Property
11.1. HoF is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Lockers are available during each visit.
11.2. Items left on the premises may be disposed of after four weeks.
12. Price Changes
12.1. HoF reserves the right to adjust Membership prices. Members will be given at least 30 days’ notice of any price changes.
12.2. Annual price increases will occur in line with inflation on January 1st of each year.
13. Governing Law
13.1. These T&Cs shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
13.2. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
